Pirelli has uneviled which compounds it will take to the Spanish, Monaco, Canadian and Austrian Grands Prix over the next few months.
The official tyre supplier has chosen to remain aggressive with its tyre choices, a decision that will please Ferrari in its battle with Mercedes.
Whilst all four nominations are identical to 2014, quicker cars and more powerful engines are putting more stress through the structure, which will lead to increased wear when compared to last year.
In Spain, Pirelli will bring the hard (orange) medium (white). These are the two hardest tyres in the range because of high ambient temperatures and Barcelona’s sweeping high-speed corners.
The next three races will all see the two softest compounds, supersoft (red) and soft (yellow), in use.
