Nicolo Bulega extended his mastery at Jerez with a dominant Race 1 victory, controlling the field from pole position to claim his seventh win at the circuit in the WorldSBK season finale.

With a seventh success in Jerez, Nicolo Bulega secured his 50th WorldSBK win milestone while leading a remarkable top-seven sweep for Ducati. Taking the chequered flag in first position, the Italian crossed the line 1.657 seconds ahead of Sam Lowes in second.

The result saw the Briton claim his best race finish since the Superpole Race during the Hungarian round in 2025. His strong drive to second also brought him temporarily tied on 245 points in the World Championship standings with his twin brother Alex Lowes.

Meanwhile, Iker Lecuona held firm in third to secure the final step on the podium, surpassing his previous personal best result of fifth at Jerez from 2024. After a difficult start, the Spaniard came under heavy pressure as Yari Montella launched an attack, but the #7 Ducati rider held strong to defend his position.

Just behind the podium battle, Alvaro Bautista ultimately snatched fourth position from Yari Montella with three laps remaining, putting on a remarkable charge to fight his way up from ninth on the grid. Montella finished 1.2 seconds behind in fifth, crossing the line just ahead of Alberto Surra in sixth.

Lorenzo Baldassarri recovered to take seventh, one spot down from his starting position, after battling his way back through the field.

Further back, Alex Lowes followed in eighth ahead of Thomas Bridewell, who finished ninth after gradually losing ground to his rivals following a tough early stint in Jerez.

Axel Bassani took 10th position ahead of Jake Dixon in 11th, while Loris Baz, Andrea Locatelli, Garrett Gerloff, and Remy Gardner completed the top 15 point-scoring positions.

At the tail end of the field, Xavi Vierge suffered an unfortunate end to his race, forced into retirement with 13 laps to go after his bike caught fire. He was one of just two non-finishers in Race 1 alongside Danilo Petrucci, who also recorded a DNF.
