Formula 1 has confirmed a major expansion into arcade gaming, announcing that all 22 official cars from the 2026 grid will join Hot Wheels Infinite Rush as downloadable content in March 2027.
The upcoming F1 Car Collection Pack—developed alongside game studio Milestone and toy giant Mattel—marks the first time officially licensed F1 machinery will be playable within a Hot Wheels video game title.
Recreated directly from their physical die-cast models, all 22 cars will slot into the game’s top-tier “Speeder” performance class, joining a launch roster of over 150 vehicles.
F1 Chief Commercial Officer Emily Prazer welcomed the crossover, pointing to strong demand following recent die-cast releases.
“Our partnership with Mattel and Hot Wheels keeps evolving for our fans, and this latest move gives them the opportunity to race their favourite driver’s car in the Hot Wheels Infinite Rush video game,” Prazer said.
“They can play against friends and family, immersing themselves in the world of F1 and enjoying the speed, competition, and drama of the sport in a whole new format.
“We know it’s going to be hugely popular given the reaction to the previous F1 Hot Wheels die-cast cars, and we can’t wait to see fans get behind the wheel when the F1 Car Collection Pack launches in March 2027.”
Milestone Publishing Director Andrea Loiudice and Mattel Head of Licensed Games Erika Winterholler both highlighted the project as a major bridge between real-world racing authenticity and arcade gaming.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is currently available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG Xbox Ally, and PC, with the paid F1 Car Collection Pack scheduled for release in March 2027.
