McLaren‘s Oscar Piastri took pole position during qualifying for the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit.
The Aussie narrowly beat the Mercedes of George Russell by less than a tenth with Lando Norris making it a one-three for McLaren.

Max Verstappen guided his Red Bull to complete the second row with Sprint winner Lewis Hamilton rounding out the top five for Ferrari.
Hamilton’s Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc was sixth with rookie Isack Hadjar leading the Racing Bulls charge in seventh.
Mercedes’ Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Racing Bulls’ Yuki Tsunoda and Williams’ Alex Albon rounded out the top-10.
