The Aprilia rider has had limited testing time aboard his new Aprilia after he suffered a highside at the Sepang MotoGP test, resulting in him missing both pre-season tests.
Martin has now suffered fractures to his left hand, left foot and now his right hand ahead of the season opener.
It is currently unclear how long the recovery process will take, but Aprilia is expected to call upon its test rider Lorenzo Savadori to fill in for the season opener.
The Spaniard’s absence means the last time he spent more than an hour on his new Italian marque was at the 2024 end-of-season test in Barcelona.
