LCR Honda revealed its new look for the upcoming 2025 season on Saturday in Bangkok ahead of the MotoGP launch event.
Despite Honda recording its worst season in MotoGP, rider Johann Zarco remains with the Japanese marque after achieving the team’s best championship result of 17th in 2024.
On his side of the garage, the two-time Moto2 champion will once again showcase Castrol as the main sponsor on his bike and overalls.
The Honda satellite entity opted to replace Takaaki Nakagami for Somkiat Chantra in 2025, making him the first Thai representative in MotoGP history.
Chantra stepped up to the top class after winning Moto2 races in Indonesia in 2022 and at Motegi in 2023.
Nakagami’s involvement with Honda remains as he joins the Honda development and test team after a seven-year stint in the premier-class.
Chantra’s side of the garage will see him represent Japanese company Idemitsu on his bike and leathers.
