Maserati MSG Racing’s Jake Hughes went quickest in the final practice session ahead of qualifying for the FIA Formula E Mexico City E-Prix.
The Briton went quickest right at the end of the session which was blighted by a damp surface on the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, caused by overnight rain.
Hughes set a time of 1:25.808, around 15 seconds slower than the fastest time in FP1, set by Antonio Felix da Costa.
Jaguar TCS Racing’s Nick Cassidy was second with lap one-and-a-half tenths off Hughes, with Pascal Wehrlein third and Jake Dennis fourth.
Da Costa was fifth, with Mahindra’s Nyck de Vries sixth, and fellow Dutchman Robin Frijns seventh.
Hughes’ team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne was eighth, and DS Penske’s Max Günther ninth.
Oliver Rowland rounded-up the top 10, the drivers covered by 1.7 seconds.
Many of the drivers seemed unwilling to complete significant push laps, given the level of dampness on the circuit.
A number of the drivers slipped and slid off the circuit at various points, particularly at the revised turn one, but all escape any serious incidents.
