Red Bull’s Max Verstappen usurped Mercedes’ George Russell at the death to take pole position for tomorrow’s Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix.
Lando Norris headed a McLaren second row lock-out over team-mate Oscar Piastri, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc completed the top five.
Lewis Hamilton split the two Ferrari drivers in the second Mercedes. Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen rounded out the top 10.
