Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton topped the timesheets in the second practice session at Formula 1‘s Las Vegas Grand Prix, edging out McLaren’s Lando Norris.
George Russell in the sister Mercedes wound up in third place, less than two-tenths behind his team-mate, while the two Ferrari drivers rounded out the top five.
Pierre Gasly placed his Alpine in sixth. Haas got both cars into the top 10 with Kevin Magnussen seventh and Nico Hulkenberg ninth; Oscar Piastri split the two.
