RB has revealed its special one-off livery for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix with a sparkling glitter theme to match the vibrant colours of the Sin City.
‘Entourage’ actors Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara helped to announce the livery in a social media video posted to RB’s X account.
The livery takes inspiration from the Cash App Visa Glitter Card with a vibrant blue and green gradient with a dazzling glitter overlay, as described by RB on its official website.
RB’s car will certainly stand out this weekend, matching the colourfully city of Las Vegas, and the team will also have matching race suits, team apparel, and team garage that all use the specific design.
In a press release, Peter Bayer CEO of Visa Cash App RB said: “It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without a touch of glitter, and as the home of glitz, it only felt right to bring this livery to the Las Vegas race.
“It holds a special place in the team’s history as it’s where we launched VCARB earlier this year.
“Since then, creative collaboration with our partners has led to outstanding liveries beyond the norm, allowing us to disrupt the way we do things in Formula One, as we’ve seen in Miami and Singapore.
“I look forward to seeing the VCARBOI shimmering under the lights on track.”
Entourage actors promote special RB glitter livery
RB’s social media video showed ‘Entourage’ actor Dillon hitting golf balls, a reference to the show, with his former co-star Ferrara mentioning a livery reveal.
Catherine Ferdon CMO, Cash App said: “With our co-title sponsorship of VCARB, we aim to bring the magic of Formula I to more people and make the sport more accessible.
“This digital-first livery reveal, inspired by our own Cash App Glitter Card, is another example of Cash App’s differentiated approach to connecting with customers.
“We look to bridge the gap between diverse audiences, open pathways to fans and connect people through experiences that are unlike anything else out there.
The blue and green livery is set to take centre stage in Las Vegas this weekend as RB continues its fight in the Constructors’ Championship with Alpine and Haas.
It currently resides in eighth place, five points behind Alpine who jumped up into sixth after their double podium in Brazil.
Haas are in seventh, two points above RB, and should have Kevin Magnussen back after he missed the race weekend in Interlagos due to illness.
