Mercedes has launched a fan competition to pay tribute to Lewis Hamilton at the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The 2024 F1 silly season kicked off before a wheel was turned with Hamilton announcing his blockbuster move to Ferrari.
The seven-time F1 Drivers’ Champion will join the Scuderia on a multi-year deal in 2025, ending a career-long association with Mercedes.
Mercedes powered Hamilton through his McLaren F1 days before he joined the German marque’s works outfit in 2013, going from a one-time to a seven-time champion and all-time record holder for race wins and pole positions.

After 18 years together in F1, Hamilton and Mercedes will part ways at the end of this year’s Abu Dhabi season finale.
To mark the special occasion, Mercedes has opened a competition to be one of 150 names to adorn Hamilton’s W15 machine at Yas Marina.
The prize draw has opened and will close on Tuesday 26th November at 23:59 GMT.
Speaking shortly after his Ferrari decision at pre-season testing in Bahrain, Hamilton said: “There’s so much love within the team [Mercedes].
“And I still, and always will, love this team. So… Everyone was incredibly understanding within the team and hugely supportive.
“But I’m really looking forward to that new challenge that, you know, it’s lots of different emotions that you would experience through that challenge.
“But it’s one I’m really excited about.”
