F1 Academy has announced that the 2024 champion will receive a fully funded GB3 seat for the 2025 season.
The champion is set to undergo 20 days of testing in the GB3 car before participating in their first full GB3 campaign.
Pirelli has also committed to providing financial contributions towards the seat as part of their new initiative, the Pirelli Prize.
The inaugural champion Marta Garcia received a fully funded seat in FRECA after an impressive campaign saw her wrap up the title fight early.
Rather than providing the 2024 champion with a FRECA seat, the GB3 seat will aim to help drivers transition from Formula 4.
The GB3 Championship is a single-seater category that will boast a number of upgrades for the 2025 season.
Drivers can race on six Grade One circuits featured on the Formula 1 calendar to help prepare them for the feeder series.
The 2025 season will also introduce a Formula 4-esque car, the Tatuus MSV GB3-025, with a revised chassis, a new engine, and DRS.
F1 Academy Managing Director Susie Wolff said: “At F1 Academy we are striving to create opportunities for women to succeed at all levels of our sport, and a testament to that mission is our commitment to putting together the best possible package for our champions to move onwards and upwards.
“Together with our driver development team, we’re proud to support our 2024 Champion with a fully funded seat in GB3 with Rodin Motorsport in 2025.
“This will provide her with a fantastic opportunity to continue her development and aid her future progression.”
