Mahindra Racing’s Nyck de Vries topped the timings in the fifth session of the FIA Formula E pre-season test in Jarama.
The Dutchman and his team-mate Edo Mortara sandwiched Jaguar’s Mitch Evans in second, with Sébastien Buemi in fourth.
Lucas di Grassi put-up a strong performance in the Lola Yamaha ABT to finish fifth, with Tag Heuer Porsche pair Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa sixth and seventh.
David Beckmann – who went fastest in the morning session – was eighth, followed by Robin Frijns and Jake Dennis.
The afternoon began with a 24-lap mock race which began under a standing start, with more testing of the Attack Charge format, which so far seemed to go without issues, encouraging its implementation in the double-header races.
Zane Maloney was the only driver to not run, his Lola failing to get off the line with an issue that was not resolved.
