Maserati MSG Racing’s Jake Hughes has topped the timesheets in the second session of this week’s FIA Formula E test in Jarama.
The Italian marque’s new recruit led a British 1-2-3 with Jake Dennis second and Dan Ticktum third.
Reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein was fourth, followed by Hughes’ team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne.
Sam Bird was sixth, despite skidding into the gravel earlier in the morning, bringing-out the red flag.
Maximilian Günther was seventh, with António Félix da Costa – fastest yesterday – eighth.
Jean-Eric Vergne was ninth, and Nico Müller tenth.
A second red flag was also produced just before the end of the running, after Nick Cassidy’s Jaguar TCS Racing car came to a halt on the pit straight.
