The FIA World Endurance Championship has confirmed a full entry list of drivers to participate in the Bahrain Rookie Test after the finale.
A selected field of talented racing drivers and famous names from across motorsport amidst a full entry list of 46 drivers in 36 cars.
More so, these drivers will either pilot Hypercar or LMGT3 machinery around the Sakhir International Circuit on Sunday 3 November.
The test, held since 2015, traditionally takes place one day after the 8 Hours of Bahrain season finale.
It will be made up of a two-hour morning session and a three-hour afternoon session.
In the Hypercar category, Team WRT LMGT3 driver Valentino Rossi will experience his first laps behind the wheel of the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh.
Dan Harper, British GT champion in 2023, will also drive the BMW Hypercar.
Elswhere, Akkodis ASP Lexus driver Esteban Masson will also drive his first Hypercar laps behind the wheel of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid.
Masson said: “I’m super-excited and super-grateful to be able to drive such a good car with Toyota.
“To be able to stay for the Rookie Test after Bahrain will be amazing.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team for the first time, to getting my first taste and to enjoying the day.

Arthur Leclerc, brother of Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, will drive the #50 AF Corse Ferrari 499P LMH having recently concluded his first European Le Mans Series season with Panis Racing.
During which, he and his #65 Oreca 07 teammates became one of three championship title contenders into the 4 Hours of Portimao season finale.
Alpine Academy driver, former FIA Formula 3 champion and Formula 2 race winner Victor Martins will drive the Alpine A424 in Bahrain as well.
“I’m super-happy for this opportunity, and very grateful to Alpine Endurance Team for allowing me to continue learning in the world of motorsport,” said Martins.

“It’s a chance for me to build my experience with new engineers and a new car, as well as to show my potential.

The Rookie Test will incorporate opportunities for LMGT3 drivers in selected Hypercar machinery, as well as others to pilot an LMGT3 car.
