Mercedes’ George Russell topped the third and final practice session for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Russell set a time of 1:42.514s, 0.013s faster than Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc with McLaren’s Lando Norris two-tenths back in third.
Norris bettered McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, who was fourth with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen rounding out the top-five.
Approximately half a second covered the top seven with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz sixth and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez seventh.
Williams had an impressive showing with both drivers inside the top-10 during the final Azerbaijan GP practice session.
Alex Albon was 0.680s off the ultimate pace in eighth with Franco Colapinto just 0.044s back from his experienced team-mate.
It was a Mercedes bookend for the top-10, completed by Lewis Hamilton.
