Breaking: Rally Greece strikes again – Neuville leads
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The WRC EKO Acropolis Rally Greece continues to play havoc, the latest victims being Gregoire Munster who landed his Puma in a ditch on the side of the road in stage nine, the last stage before the tyre fitting zone.

Rally leader Dani Sordo suffered a puncture and a delaminated tyre which destroyed his Hyundai’s right rear bodywork. He dropped 51.3 seconds and lost the lead to Thierry Neuville.

With no service today, it remains to be seen if the damage to Sordo’s car is merely cosmetic, or worse…

The Belgian leads by Sordo by 35 seconds with Ogier in third, 1 min 25 seconds off the lead. Tanak is fourth, 2 minutes behind Ogier.
