F1 Arcade, the self-described “first official premium F1 experiential hospitality brand,” will continue its expansion into the United States of America with plans for a fourth site to open in Philadelphia in 2025.
The Formula 1, food, bar, cocktail, sim-racing and watch-along offering that is F1 Arcade first welcomed punters in December 2022 with the opening of the inaugural London site in the United Kingdom.
Since then, F1 Arcade has moved stateside, opening its first U.S. venue at Boston Seaport in April 2024, with a second venue in Washington D.C. opening this October.
Philadelphia will follow Las Vegas with a 2025 opening with the U.S. expansion forming the foundations for a global F1 Arcade takeover as the company plans to open 30 sites internationally across the next five years.
“We’re excited to announce our fourth U.S. location right in the heart of Philly,” said Jon Gardner, U.S. President of F1 Arcade.
“We can’t wait for locals to enjoy the excitement of F1 Arcade – whether it’s racing head-to-head on iconic tracks with friends, or savouring incredible cocktails and enjoying the incredible food.
“Philadelphia, with its rich culture and history, felt like the perfect next step for our U.S. expansion.
“We’re thrilled to be joining the vibrant community of shops and restaurants in this amazing city.”
The Philadelphia site will encompass 19,200 square feet on 1330 Chestnut Street, which F1 Arcade “calls one of the city’s most vibrant and bustling neighbourhoods.”
F1 Aracde’s U.S. expansion is no doubt a logical step in its evolution given Formula 1’s parallel growth in the same region.
Grand Prix racing has boomed in the USA, with the nation hosting three Grands Prix annually in Miami, Austin and Las Vegas.
Austin in particular, continues to draw in weekend crowds in excess of 400,000 year on year and F1 Aracde is seeking to leverage this fan interest ahead of expanding beyond America.
