Formula 1 has published that there will again be six grands prix on the 2025 calendar which will host the Sprint race format, with Belgium selected to replace Austria.
Having been introduced at three events when the format was introduced in 2021, the revised schedule has been increased to six rounds each season since last term.
But although the Red Bull Ring has been ever-present since 2022, Austria will return to being a standalone grand prix race as Belgium is reinstated to the Sprint roster.
Spa-Francorchamps hosted the tweaked schedule last season, but the circuit was not retained as an option along with Baku as China and Miami were new inclusions.
Both the Shanghai International Circuit and Miami International Autodrome will have two races next season, with Austin, Brazil and Qatar also all remaining as Sprints.
The Sprint alteration underwent another overhaul this season as the truncated sessions were moved before grand prix qualifying to enable parc ferme to be reopened.
This was a reaction to criticism that the limited practice time to make set-up changes contributed to plank wear disqualifications in the 2023 United States Grand Prix.
