The Andretti FIA Formula E team has renewed its powertrain partnership with Porsche through the next two seasons.
The partnership, which began in Season 9, has already been a success, with the combination powering Jake Dennis to World Championship success. And despite some issues in qualifying for the team, there is no doubt that race pace is still as strong as ever, with Dennis securing some vital points – as well as a commanding victory in Diriyah – after some storming drives, leaving him just 13 points off the lead of the Drivers’ Championship.
In a statement, CEO Michael Andretti said: “It’s an exciting time to be a part of Formula E and we feel confident in our position in the Series, which is due in large part to our partnership with Porsche.
“From day one our goal has been to win races and Championships, and Porsche has helped us achieve both since joining forces in Season 9.
“With all the success we’ve shared with the GEN3 car, I can’t wait to see what we can do together in the GEN3 Evo era.”
Porsche and Andretti will be looking to extend their haul in the Manufacturers’ Championship this weekend in Berlin.
