The McLaren Formula 1 team has revealed the revised design scheme that it will run throughout this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix in partnership with sponsor VUSE.
McLaren has run revised liveries at the previous two runnings of the round in Suzuka as part of a collaboration with OKX and has continued that tradition into this season.
The latest iteration represents BAT’s brand VUSE and its ‘Driven by Change’ initiative, created to “celebrate emerging creatives through the global motorsport platform”.
Japanese artist MILTZ is responsible for crafting the bespoke design that fuses modern art and culture with Edomoji, described as “a traditional Japanese calligraphy”.
McLaren’s standard colour scheme has been retained, with the added patterns intended to constitute the speed of an F1 car in the form of a dragon racing through clouds.
The Woking-based squad sported numerous unique liveries across last season, with its Suzuka special being adorned as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri drove to the podium.
