Max Verstappen has taken pole position for Formula 1’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, beating Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to clinch top spot in qualifying once again.
Sergio Perez was third in the second Red Bull, ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and the two McLaren drivers led by Oscar Piastri over Lando Norris.
Mercedes locked out the fourth row with George Russell in front of Lewis Hamilton. Yuki Tsunoda and Lance Stroll rounded out the top 10 for tomorrow’s grid.
Oliver Bearman failed to progress to Q3 in his maiden F1 qualifying session for Ferrari, falling 0.036 seconds short of eliminating Hamilton in the second stage.
