Arrow McLaren has shown off the designs the team will run for the upcoming IndyCar season, revealing different liveries for each of the team’s three full time entries.
Although each design is distinct, the brand alignment is strong and it will be obvious to fans that all three drivers are part of the same squad.
Alexander Rossi’s livery was unveiled first for the #7 entry, showing off a striking design that is primarily white and is complemented by black streaks and the team’s traditional papaya color.
The design is reminiscent of Arrow McLaren’s special Indy 500 liveries of the past, specifically Tony Kanaan’s livery for last year’s Indy 500, which was a hit among the veteran’s fans.
David Malukas’ #6 car was shown off next, and featured a primarily blue color across a bulk of the car. The same black and papaya splashes were present, but the look is significantly different on account of the deep shade of blue used.
The livery is also quite different from the one his fans are used to seeing him with, as the 22-year-old is coming into the team from Dale Coyne Racing where he piloted a primarily black, white, and red car.
The final car revealed was Pato O’Ward’s #5 entry, and his livery featured black across much of the car’s surfaces.
The familiar papaya accents were still present, but overall the machine has a meaner look than the other two in the team’s garages.
All three drivers will look to push their new liveries to the podium in the coming year. O’Ward was a regular on the podium during the 2023 season, and both Rossi and Malukas found the podium once during the year’s 17 races.
Typically Arrow McLaren runs special liveries for the Indianapolis 500, which have yet to be revealed for its full time entries.
However, Kyle Larson’s livery was revealed last year, as the NASCAR champion will sport Hendrick sponsorship on top of blue and papaya colors for his Indy 500 / Coke 600 double attempt.
