The official FIA World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans game, Le Mans Ultimate, is set for early access PC release on 20 February.
Developed by simulation developer Studio 397, the game will feature all of the cars and circuits from the thrilling 2023 FIA WEC season, which hosted the Centenary edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race.
In addition to LMGTE and the renowned Oreca 07 LMP2, all Hypercars from 2023 include machinery from Cadillac, Ferrari, Glickenhaus, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota and Vanwall.
The price will be at €29.99 EUR / £24.99 GBP / $32.99 USD for day one release, as those who purchase early will be able to capitalise on the ability to provide feedback and steer future content.
Dom Duhan, Head of Studio 397, said: “397 laps is the highest number of laps ever completed by a team at Le Mans, giving Studio 397 it’s unique name.
“To be able to bring this product to market is a dream fulfilled.
“For the team it’s the next stint of an exciting journey to deliver the ultimate endurance title.
“Launching in Early Access is an important step in realising our ambitions ; we will launch features and content only when ready and up to the high standards we set ourselves.”
Players will be able to experience the famed venues which made up the 2023 season, from the bumps of Sebring, to the ‘roller-coaster’ of Portimão, and further to Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Fuji, Bahrain, as well as the historic Circuit de la Sarthe which hosted the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans 24.
The game can be played through online events/multiplayer, powered by the latest version of RaceControl coming to Le Mans Ultimate, or Single Player Race Weekend. The latter allows players to refine their car’s setup throughout the race weekend format of free practice, qualifying and the main race.
