Trackhouse Racing revealed its final livery during its maiden MotoGP campaign in a high-profile launch event in Los Angeles, the team opting for a patriotic scheme.
The US-owned operation, a multi-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, took over the grid spots and Aprilia satellite deal from the excluded RNF outfit in early December. It staged a brief announcement event, showing off a paint scheme made predominantly of a stars and stripes design that reflected the United States flag.
Trackhouse unveiled a slightly simpler design compared to the one it showed last month, with a larger white section featuring towards the rear of the Aprilia RS-GP and smaller red stripes along the side. The squad is yet to feature a title sponsor, with Italian dairy produce company Sterilgarda taking the lion’s share of the branding along the bottom and front fairing of the bike.
Unlike its predecessor, Trackhouse will make use of full-factory specification Aprilia machinery during the year. The experienced Miguel Oliveira will start 2024 on a current spec RS-GP, while Raul Fernandez is set to switch to the newest evolution of the machine for June’s Italian Grand Prix. The Spaniard will thus start the year on the 2023 version of the motorcycle.
