Iowa Speedway has revealed two of the artists that will be performing during the 2024 Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend, and the acts continue the tradition of bringing high profile names to the infield stage.
Performing before the first race of the double-header weekend on Saturday evening is Luke Combs, an award winning country music artist.
Combs earned CMA Entertainer of the Year in both 2021 and 2022, and has achieved 16 consecutive #1 singles in recent years.
Following the second IndyCar race on Sunday, the stage will be set up again to host a performance by Post Malone.
Malone is an eight time diamond certified artist, and will visit the state of Iowa for the first time in order to perform in front of the crowds gathered at Iowa Speedway.
“Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend has become a true destination event, showcasing everything that is great about racing and about Iowa,” said Jeremy Gosch, Hy-Vee’s vice chairman and CEO.
“We’re obviously very excited about how the weekend has been received the past two years, and we know the 2024 event will be just as great. We look forward to bringing these artists to Iowa and providing another outstanding weekend of entertainment.”
The track has hosted high profile musical acts during each of IndyCar’s race weekends since 2022, and the effort has seen a significant boost in attendance from fans that take advantage of one of the easiest ways to see their favorite performers in person.
Both performances next year will be full length 90-minute acts, and any fan with a race ticket will be able to enjoy the shows from the front stretch seating area.
Upgrade tickets are also available for purchase, which will allow fans to approach the stage and stand in the infield grass area during the performances.
The musical entertainment is in addition to the two full length IndyCar races hosted during those days, which will be run on July 13 and 14. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
