Charles Leclerc went fastest in FP2 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, setting a 1:24.809s lap time in his Ferrari.
Leclerc was 0.043s ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris in second and 0.173s ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in third.
Valtteri Bottas was near the sharp end, posting the fourth-fastest time in the Alfa Romeo C43, with Sergio Perez completing the top five in the second Red Bull.
George Russell was next in the order in sixth for Mercedes, ahead of the second Alfa Romeo of Zhou Guanyu in seventh.
Lewis Hamilton ensured both Mercedes were in the top-10 courtesy of a time good enough for eighth, with Alpine’s Pierre Gasly and McLaren’s Oscar Piastri completing the top-10 positions.
