McLaren has unveiled a new ‘Stealth Mode’ bespoke livery in partnership with sponsor OKX that will run at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix and next weekend in Japan.

The design sees the papaya and black colour scheme of the MCL60 inverted to produce a predominantly black design.

This is the second special design collaboration between McLaren and OKX in successive years, following the pink-infused design the team ran in Singapore and Japan last season.

This year’s livery will also be accompanied by a limited-edition run of merchandise in the form of a t-shirt, made available via the McLaren store and Token2049, a special Web3 event taking place in Singapore prior to the GP.

The ‘Stealth Mode’ livery is the third special design that McLaren has used in 2023.

The first was the ‘Triple Crown’ livery that ran in Spain and Monaco, which combined elements of the three liveries from McLaren’s winning cars in the 1974 Indy 500, 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans and 1984 Monaco Grand Prix.

Then at Silverstone, the team unveiled a special chrome-infused livery in partnership with its Google Chrome sponsor, harking back to the days of the chrome McLarens that raced in the late 2000s.

Speaking on this latest design, McLaren CEO Zak Brown said; “our partnership with OKX goes from strength to strength, and it’s fantastic to celebrate it with this incredible livery.”

“Stealth Mode flips our race car’s colours, bringing something exciting and different to these two great races in Singapore and Japan.

“We hope fans will love it as much as we do and get a chance to enjoy the fan zone to connect with our team.

“OKX are a dedicated supporter of McLaren’s journey, and in turn we’re proud to bring our partnership to life on track through the global platform of Formula 1.”

Chief Marketing Officer at OKX Haider Rafique said; “Success on the track, and in the Web3 world, is only possible through teamwork, creativity and innovation.

“Stealth Mode is inspired by these common principles.

“As Stealth Mode hits the track this weekend we wish the best of luck to Lando and Oscar in what we hope will be a strong performing MCL60.”
