The Alfa Romeo C43s of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu are set to turn heads in Spa-Francorchamps this weekend with a special livery celebrating the team’s partnership with streaming platform, KICK.
Alfa Romeo will swap out their traditional title sponsor, STAKE, for neon green elements synonymous with the KICK streaming platform, which STAKE launched in December last year.
As per the official statement, the livery will feature alongside the neon-green KICK logo distinctive brand elements such as; “neon green face locks, emoticons and its 95-5 revenue split.”
The striking look is completed by neon green wheel covers and a flame pattern on the front wing.
The special one-off livery will also be made available to gamers thanks to an in-game download on F1 23 in August.
This further strengthens the virtual ties between the Alfa Romeo team and the KICK platform, the latter being the title sponsor for Alfa’s Esports team, which will compete in the professional F1 Esports championship later this year.
Since its inception, the creator-first streaming platform, KICK, has accrued over 14 million registered users and the company’s director of acquisition, Akhil Sarin, is delighted to be celebrating the enterprise’s growth via the special livery set to run in the Belgian GP.
“We could not be prouder of having KICK inspire the livery for the upcoming GP weekend at Spa,” he said.
“The KICK-inspired livery is striking with stylish simplicity. We dedicate the KICK Streaming special livery to our community as they have in many ways and in their own ways contributed to the success of KICK.”
Alfa Romeo Team Representative, Alessandro Alunni Bravi, echoed Sarin’s sentiment.
“KICK has been disrupting its market sector since its inception, and the livery they created for us for Spa fits into this philosophy: it is different, it is striking, it is something designed to be different and create attention,'” Bravi said in the team’s press release.
“We’re happy to celebrate their work with an equally disruptive livery for this weekend.”
