IMSA Lime Rock Park entry list reveals 20 GTDs

IMSA has revealed the 20-car entry list of GTDs and GTD-Pros for the Northeast Grand Prix taking place at Lime Rock Park on Saturday 22 July.

The seventh round on the 2023 calendar will be a 2 hour and 40 minute race featuring only Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) machinery with 5 entries in GTD-Pro and 15 entries in GTD.

The Pro category is headlined by duo Antonio Garcia and Jordan Taylor in the #3 Corvette C8.R, who took a class victory last time out at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

CTMP runners up, Klaus Bachler and Patrick Pillet will pilot the #9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R and Britons Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat will drive the #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RCF GT3.

In the #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Ross Gunn and Alex Riberas will be responsible for the driving duties and rounding off the Pro category is the #79 WeatherTech Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3  driven by Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon.

GTD will feature 15 entries representing eight manufacturers.

The class points leading #1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 will be driven by Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow, and the Vasser Sullivan’s other Lexus, the #12 machine, will be piloted by Frankie Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz.

Duo Roman De Angelis and two-time WEC GT Champion Marco Sorensen will drive Heart of Racing’s other #27 Aston Martin. Mike Skeen and Mikael Grenier will drive the #32 Team Korthoff Motorsports Mercedes-AMG.

Winward Racing has their #57 Mercedes-AMG for Russell Ward and Philip Ellis. The sole #66 Acura NSX GT3 of Gradient Racing will be driven by duo Sheena Monk and Katherine Legge.

Inception Racing’s #70 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo will have Brendan Iribe and Frederik Schandorff behind the wheel, whilst the #77 Wright Motorsports Porsche will be driven by Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman.

Misha Goikhberg and Loris Spinelli will drive the #78 Forte Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. The renowned #80 AO Racing ‘Rexy’ Porsche will be piloted by PJ Hyett and Seb Priaulx. There will be two Riley-run Porsches, featuring Alan Metni and Kay van Berlo in the #91, and David Brule and Alec Udell in the #92

Jarett Andretti and Gabby Chaves head the #94 Andretti Autosport Aston Martin, whilst two Turner Motorsport entries round off the list. Patrick Gallagher and Robby Foley will drive the #96 BMW whilst Bill Auberlen and Chandler Hull will be in the #97.
