Colin Braun was fastest again in the second practice session for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s 6 Hours of Glen, with the American setting a 1:32.311 to go quickest.
Connor de Phillippi was second fastest in the #25 BMW M Hybrid V8, just 0.004 off Braun. His teammate Augusto Farfus was third in the sister #24 BMW, 0.263 off Braun.
Pipo Derani in the #31 Action Express Cadillac V-Series.R was fourth, with Nick Tandy fifth in the #6 Porsche 963.
In LMP2, Kyffin Simpson set the pace in the #8 Tower Motorsports Oreca 07-Gibson, with a 1:36.458. Mikkel Jensen was next up, just under a tenth and a half slower in the #11 TDS Oreca 07-Gibson, while Paul-Loup Chatin was third in the #52 PR1 Mathiasen Oreca 07-Gibson.
Over in LMP2, #17 AWA Duqueine D08-Nissan’s Wayne Boyd was top, setting a 1:40.795. Josh Burdon was second quickest, almost two tenths off Boyd in the #74 Riley Ligier JS P320, while Matt Bell was third in the sister #13 AWA machine.
A GTD car once again topped the times in the GT cars, with Aaron Telitz quickest in the #12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3, reeling off a 1:45.320. It was a Vasser Sullivan 1-2, in fact, with Jack Hawksworth topping the GTD Pro class, second in GT overall, in the sister #14 Lexus, just a couple of hundredths off Telitz.
Second in GTD, third in GT overall, was Loris Spinelli in the #78 Forte Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Ross Gunn was second in GTD Pro and fourth in GT overall, in the #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3, with Andrea Caldarelli third in GTD Pro in the #63 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
Third in GTD and ninth in GT overall was Bryan Sellers in the #1 Paul Miller BMW M4 GT3.
