Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo is to co-host a telecast at three Formula 1 grands prix in 2023.
Ricciardo will link up with actor and comedian Will Arnett to host The Grandstand with Daniel Ricciardo and Will Arnett.
The program will take place at races in Canada, Austin and Las Vegas.
The telecast, which will air on ESPN2 in the United States, will feature guests through the course of grands prix to provide commentary and conversation.
“This is going to be a hoot!” said Ricciardo, who will be on location in Montreal. “As you’d expect Will and I are going to have some fun with the show, but we’re hoping it just feels like you’re watching F1 with your mates.
“We will have some amazing guests, plenty of laughs and with some luck, bring fans another step closer to the sport I love so much. Buckle up America!”
Ricciardo raced full-time in Formula 1 from 2011 through 2022, for HRT, Toro Rosso, Red Bull, Renault and McLaren.
He returned to Red Bull in a third driver capacity for 2023 and is due to only attend select grands prix through the year.
