Max Verstappen topped the timing sheets in second practice for the Monaco Grand Prix with a time of 1:12.462.
The Dutchman was closely followed by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz who were half-a-tenth and one tenth off the pace respectively.

However, the session wasn’t plain sailing for Ferrari as Sainz’s session ended early after a crash at the Swimming Pool chicane.
The Spaniard clipped the inside barrier at Turn 15 which broke his front right suspension before coming to a stop in the barriers at Turn 16.
Williams were able to repair the damage to Alex Albon’s car following his crash in FP1. However, the British-Thai driver missed the majority of the session and will be on the back foot on Sunday.
