AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda has been spotted helping the Faenza community clean up its streets amid a period of flooding.
The AlphaTauri F1 team has its factory in the region, while it is also the location of Tsunoda’s home.
Severe rainfall and flooding have hit the area in recent weeks, with F1 officials and race organisers opting to cancel the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix due to the situation.
Tsunoda and a number of his AlphaTauri team-mates have opted to take to the streets and assist in the clean-up operation.

“After a horrible night the town is heavily impacted: dust, mud, and the smell of gasoline everywhere,” Tsunoda wrote on social media.
“Currently people are struggling to find food and especially places to stay after many have been evacuated from their own homes.”
Tsunoda has lived in the area since 2021, with Red Bull opting to move him to the region from Milton Keynes to further his development as a driver.
His 2023 team-mate, Nyck de Vries, also revealed earlier this week that he was left stranded in a local village due to the severity of the flooding.
AlphaTauri has also shared the link where donations can be made to support the Emilia Romagna community.
