Max Verstappen has ended the opening practice session from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on top of the timesheets.
The session was a chaotic one, with mistakes aplenty throughout the grid.

Charles Leclerc was second on the timesheet, posting a strong lap time despite taking to the escape road on multiple occasions.
Sergio Perez was third, while Nyck de Vries had a strong session in his AlphaTauri by setting the sixth-fastest lap time ahead of qualifying.
