Charles Leclerc could release his own music in the future after revealing that he is “trying to produce songs” in his spare time.
The Ferrari driver is already known to be a skilled piano player, often posting clips to his Instagram and now Leclerc says that he is writing his own music.
Leclerc was asked if he had ever recorded a song in Formula 1’s latest ‘never have I ever’ YouTube video.
“I am doing it now,” he said. “It‘s not going to be public. I mean, I am just doing it for myself, I am trying to produce songs, but [it’s] early days.”
And when his response to that question was posted on Twitter by user @Vetteleclerc, the Ferrari driver then replied underneath regarding the privacy element and wrote “it might change…”
Leclerc is not the only musically talented driver in the F1 paddock, however, as Lewis Hamilton is also known to be an accomplished musician, lending his vocal talents to Christina Aguilera’s song ‘Pipe’ in 2018. The British driver has also posted himself playing the guitar in the past.
McLaren’s Lando Norris is also known to play the guitar sometimes and he has also taken up drumming recently.
