Peugeot has unveiled a special art car-style livery that it will race on one of the two Peugeot 9X8 Hypercars which will race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year.
The livery has been designed by Spanish artist J.Demsky, who has already designed the drivers helmets and overalls.
The French manufacturer campaigns two cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship; the #93, driven by Jean-Eric Vergne, Mikkel Jensen, and Paul di Resta, while Nico Muller, Loic Duval, and Gustavo Menezes share the sister #94.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the WEC’s crown jewel race, where there is a strong tradition of art car or special liveries. It is believed that Porsche is also planning on running a special livery for its third #75 Porsche 963, which will celebrate the German manufacturer’s 75th anniversary. It is also the centenary of the French endurance classic, with the first race being held in 1923, so there may be more special liveries yet to be unveiled.
Check out the livery from all the angles below. The 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place 10-11 June.
