Red Bull Racing has provided the first glimpse of its RB19 as it strives to win a second successive Formula 1 world title.
Red Bull was coy pre-season as it undertook a launch event in New York with a show car before undertaking a shakedown at Silverstone without providing a full view of the RB19.
The car was seen in public for the first time in advance of the opening day of testing in Bahrain on Thursday during pre-session promotional shoots, before hitting the track later in the morning.
World Champion Max Verstappen is due to drive the RB19 throughout Thursday’s running at Sakhir, the opening day of the sole pre-season test session.
Red Bull enters the 2023 following a dominant campaign last year, which saw it take the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship with several rounds to spare.
Verstappen will once again partner Sergio Perez, with the Mexican entering his third season with the Milton Keynes-based squad.
There is also a familiar face back at Red Bull, with Daniel Ricciardo returning as a third driver, carrying out marketing duties for his former squad.
