The NTT IndyCar Series has announced that it has secured a larger list of international broadcasters than ever before, covering 142 countries and 223 markets for the 2023 season.
New for this year is a deal with TSN to provide Canada with comprehensive coverage of eight races on the network’s traditional TV package, including the Indianapolis 500.
The network will also stream all 17 races of the season online, including practice and qualifying, on its new TSN+ service.
Existing relationships continue with Sky Sports to bring coverage of the upcoming season to the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
ESPN will also continue to provide coverage to key markets in Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, which all have driver representation in the series this year.
“We are pleased to see the expansion of our international partners and offerings mirroring the impressive growth of the NTT IndyCar Series,” said Penske Entertainment President and CEO Mark Miles.
“This season, 15 nations are represented by our full-time field of 27 entries, which is the most since 2011. The global reach of IndyCar is as important as ever as we reach new audiences with an expanding fan base.
“It’s very gratifying to continue our relationships with existing partners and increase visibility with our new ones.”
Various other networks and broadcasters will provide coverage to other parts of the globe, with nearly every IndyCar fan having access to at least some live coverage of the season.
For countries that are not covered by an international partner, the series will continue to offer its free IndyCar Live direct-to-consumer streaming service.
In the United States, NBC Sports continues its broadcast partnership, with 16 of the 17 races being offered on traditional television, with the streaming Peacock service covering the race from Toronto and all practice and qualifying sessions throughout the season.
