The #60 Meyer Shank Acura ARX-06 tops the timesheets again with Helio Castroneves setting a 1:35.210 in the second practice session of the Roar Before the 24.

With no red flags or prolonged yellow flag periods, drivers got to take advantage of all the allotted time for the session. However, it wasn’t until the last lap of the session that Castroneves took the fastest time.

The first 15 minutes were for GTD, LMP3, and LMP2 classes only, before being joined for the rest of the session by the GTD Pro and GTP classes. The Pro classes got their 15 minutes of track time alone at the end of the session.

Elsewhere in the GTP class, the second fastest was the #10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 driven by Felipe Albuquerque, setting a 1:35.320. Less than two-tenths behind came Scott Dixon in the #01 Cadillac Racing V-LMDh.
