Jamie Chadwick will remain part of Williams’ Driver Academy ahead of her move to the INDY NXT Series in 2023.
Chadwick has been supported by Williams since 2019 and won the W Series title in each year of its existence, in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
Chadwick will make the move into the rebranded INDY NXT Series this year, signing a deal to compete for Andretti, and she will remain part of Williams’ programme.
“To be continuing my relationship with Williams is amazing,” said Chadwick.
“Having the opportunity to immerse myself within the team and keep that Formula 1 dream alive is very important. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
Williams promoted Logan Sargeant from its Driver Academy to Formula 1 for 2023 while it also has Zak O’Sullivan, Ollie Gray and new recruit Franco Colapinto set for Formula 3 seasons.
“We’re very excited to have Jamie continuing as a core part of our Driver Academy at Williams Racing,” said Sporting Director Sven Smeets.
“She’s an incredibly talented driver and an important role model in inspiring the next generation of females in motorsport.
“We look forward to supporting her in 2023 while she takes on the new challenge in Indy NXT.”
