Jake Dennis took the first race victory of the Gen3 era, beating Pascal Wehrlein to the chequered flag in Mexico City.
There was drama in the final laps of the race as there was a fierce battle for the final spot on the podium – however Lucas di Grassi held on, after taking pole position earlier in the day.

Jake Hughes scored a top-five finish for McLaren in his and the team’s first race in the series – however they will be somewhat disappointed after losing out to Andre Lotterer in the final moments.
Reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne was 10th fastest, while five drivers – Rene Rast, Edoardo Mortara, Sam Bird, Norman Nato and Robin Frijns all retired.
