F1 drivers’ penalty points and expiration dates
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Here, you can keep track of how many penalty points each Formula 1 driver has as well as their expiration dates.

The list will be updated throughout the 2023 Formula 1 season.

Any driver that is issued 12 points on their Super Licence is handed a race ban for the next applicable grand prix.

The penalty points expire exactly 12 months after the date they are handed to the driver.

Currently, Pierre Gasly leads the list of drivers on eight points and is currently in the most danger of being handed a race ban.

After Gasly, Lance Stroll and Alexander Albon have racked up the most points behind the Frenchman.

Several drivers are yet to take on points – these include Oscar Piastri, Nico Hulkenberg, Nyck de Vries and Logan Sargeant, who didn’t race full-time in F1 last year.

However, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas also have zero points to their name after keeping their noses clean over the last 12 months.
