AlphaTauri has set a date for the launch of its 2023 Formula 1 programme, which is to take place in the United States.
AlphaTauri confirmed that it will take place in New York on February 11, which coincides with the famous New York Fashion Week.
The launch is set to be an unveiling of the team’s 2023 livery rather than a presentation of the full-spec AT04.
AlphaTauri is the third team to confirm its 2023 launch plans, with Aston Martin and Ferrari set to follow suit on February 13 and 14 respectively.
AlphaTauri endured a low-key 2022 season and slipped to ninth in the Constructors’ Championship, its worst result since its rebranding from Toro Rosso.
The squad has retained Yuki Tsunoda for his third season and has recruited Nyck de Vries in place of Alpine-bound Pierre Gasly.
De Vries made his Formula 1 debut with Williams in Italy and scored ninth place.
The Dutchman previously tested for Mercedes, Aston Martin and Williams through the course of the campaign.
