George Russell topped the extended second practice session of the Mexico City Grand Prix which was used as a testing session for Pirelli tyres that are still in development.
Russell led Yuki Tsunoda and Esteban Ocon, with the top three returning to their cars after making way for a rookie in FP1. They opted for a few laps on the red-walled soft compounds to make up for the lack of earlier running.
