Alpine Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon delivered the Ballon d’Or trophy in style at last night’s ceremony in Paris.
The Ballon d’Or is one of the most prestigious trophies a football player can win, and on Monday, the honour went to Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
Alpine is a partner of the event, with Ocon and Fernando Alonso making an appearance in 2021, when Lionel Messi picked up his seventh award.
At the 2022 occasion, Ocon drove the trophy to the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris in a V8-spec F1 car, decorated in Alpine colours.
Ocon was not the only F1 driver present, as his 2023 team-mate, Pierre Gasly was at the ceremony, along with Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi.
Alpine will be back in F1 action this weekend at the US Grand Prix, as it looks to further consolidate fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship.
