Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu is the latest driver that will take a grid drop at this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix.
Zhou is the seventh driver that will be demoted on the grid post-qualifying.
The Chinese driver has had a number of new Power Unit components fitted to his car that exceed the penalty-free quota for the season.
Zhou has taken on a fourth Internal Combustion Engine, turbocharger and MGU-H, as well as a third Control Electronics and fifth gearbox.
Championship leader Max Verstappen took on new components ahead of the final practice session, as did Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
Their penalties were officially confirmed on Friday, with Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas and Mick Schumacher also being issued grid demotions.
The exact order of the cars on the final starting grid will take shape after Saturday’s qualifying session from Spa-Francorchamps.
