MotorsportWeek.com and our sister publication Motorsport Monday are looking to expand our current team of talented reporters.
We are currently seeking additional writers across Formula 1 and MotoGP. All roles are freelance and part time with pay commensurate to talent and previous experience.
What’s involved?
Responsibilities include weekend session and race reports, news items and features, for our flagship titles MotorsportWeek.com, Motorsport Monday and other new projects currently in development. Most importantly, you must have a good command of written English and MS Word/or Apple Pages. Once established, we could be sending you to report live at events around the world.
Available Roles:
- Formula 1 Junior Writer
Think you’ve got what it takes to write about Formula 1, but don’t have much experience? We’re looking for a junior writer to support our at-event journalists with transcribing, writing up content and stories. Your role will also include covering some junior categories such as Formula 2 and Formula 3. Your role will be home based with the opportunity to attend select races.
- MotoGP
Think you’ve got what it takes to write about MotoGP, but don’t have much experience? We’re looking for a junior writer to assist our current team with transcribing, writing up content and stories. Your role will initially be home based but could involve attending some events in the future.

I think you should be advertising for a sub-editor, to eliminate, or at least reduce, the errors which appear in the articles on this site. Without even seeking to do so, I spotted three errors of grammar or syntax in this short piece of text alone. If your writers can’t be bothered to properly proofread their work, and I admit I may be being foolish here in making the assumption that they are capable of such, then do yourselves the favour, and your readers the courtesy, of hiring someone to do it for them.
