Jake Hughes will sit out the next two rounds of the Formula 2 season after testing positive for Covid-19.
His place at Van Amersfoort Racing for the events in France and Hungary will be taken by David Beckmann.
Beckmann competed for VAR at Silverstone, in place of the suspended Amaury Cordeel, and also had an outing earlier this season at Imola with Charouz.
VAR has taken the decision to utilise Beckmann for both France and Hungary due to the short turnaround time between the respective rounds.
Felipe Drugovich enters the French round of the season atop the standings, 39 points clear of Williams-backed Logan Sargeant.
