Vettel sports Ukraine-inspired helmet scheme at test

Sebastian Vettel (GER) Aston Martin F1 Team AMR22. Formula One Testing, Thursday 10th March 2022. Sakhir, Bahrain.

Sebastian Vettel has debuted a revised helmet design showing his support to Ukraine amid its ongoing invasion by Russia.

The drivers – bar yet-to-be-confirmed Kevin Magnussen and Lewis Hamilton, who suffered a flight delay – gathered on the grid in Bahrain on Wednesday as part of a show of support for Ukraine.

On Thursday Aston Martin driver Vettel presented a revised helmet scheme, with the colours of Germany’s flag replaced by the blue and yellow of Ukraine’s flag.

The top of Vettel’s helmet features the lyrics to John Lennon’s Imagine, while the side features the dove of peace, and the words ‘NO WAR’.

Bahaha. I wonder if this doofus realises “Imagine” is a song promoting communism, which is responsible more deaths than any other system in human history (just during WWII alone).

Communism has nothing to do with deaths. Communism, liberalism, democracy, capitalism, monarchy are just useless concepts to waste time.
What truly matters – people who rule. Scam democratic governments will bring as much sorrow as scam communists. If both governments are reasonable, moon race is happening which is one of best mankind achievements ever.
Greatest respect to Vettel, always knew he is true replacement of Schumacher, not that prick Hamilton.
Respect also to civilized people in any country, no matter it is Ukraine, Russia or China.

And let’s give best possible support to them who fight darkest and worst side of humans now defending Ukraine.
